A new season is imminent

The next week sees the chance to try out that new rod of mine! Together with the new reel and the new lines. Almost forgot the new chest waders I bought in the AW sale last year. All I need now are some new flies and a lot of luck!

Bird box fix

After the naff winter we have just survived, the latest home grown bird boxes have been taken out and fixed in place. I'll need to keep my eye on them as they are a bit exposed at present with no leaves on the trees they are fixed to.
Hopefully they will provide an option for some of our feathered friends?
